My Lords. It just occurred to me that December may be the biggest and most important month of the year because of a number of imminent events of great importance, and I shall list and describe them all.
December 1
First there is the new EVE Online expansion, Dominion. It brings not only new and shiny things but fundamental changes to the underlying system of PVP and sovereignty.
December 9
While the date itself isn't quite so certain (was it taken from some twitter feed or my behind? I can't tell), the month is. Battlefield Bad Company 2 open beta. Or private. It depends on which news source you wish to quote but ultimately it will be in all our hands.
December 19
Last but not least there is the TeamSpeak 3 Beta. After far too many years a high quality open communication system will at last be released.

Time for a server upgrade.
I'll be going from an Athlon X2 5600+ to a Core i7 920 and waffles.
I'll be redoing everything and useless projects will be dropped (and the slightly less useless ones backed up).

Well, turns out I had accidentally disabled the script that generates ribbons and awards for both the L4D and TF2 servers. But this has now been fixed (turned on)! Get your piece of the action here! |

The update was released roughly 10 hours ago. The TF2 server is currently running plr_pipeline (the new, totally awesome map) 24/7. Woop! |
